When I enter the name of a file located in one of the default home folders like `~/Documents` or `~/Downloads` it is immediately found in Krunner, Aplication Launcher and other launchers. (Application Dashboard shows that under "Desktop Search" category.)

Is it possible to add other locations in which these launchers to look and show instantly files and folders?

I realize not all launchers show exactly the same things, for example Application Dashboard doesn't show Places. Thus, I know I can make any folder accessible from Krunner and Application Launcher by adding it to "Places" in Dolphin, but I want their contents to be accessible also.
