I'm suffering an issue where upon the screen reawakening "all" the applications that were running have crashed. Not one application still works, unless the crash message is closed and the application restarted, only to happen again if the screen get switched off by the system. The machine is set to never sleep just the screen.

I run an MSI B450 Mortar, AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 32Gb @3200MHz DD4R4 RAM, a Sapphire RX 590 and OS Arch Linux with KDE Plasma install as the GUI. What can be done to fix my experience and prevent all applications crashing?
