I have a question about running a KDE 5 Plasma + Manjaro Linux environment on the Surface Book 2.

I use yay package manager. I did yay -Syu , and now every time I run this system it renders small. Prior to this, I had followed the install/setup instructions and everything rendered at the typical size (i.e. readable).

What might be the issue? What should I be checking to debug this?
