Dell desktop computer, running Fedora KDE spin for years. I just updated from Fedora 33 to 34. All DNF updates are applied. As far as I can tell, I do not have any desktop extensions enabled.

When I use the Screen Energy Saver on the Systems Settings, after the screen times out and goes blank, it will not restore the login screen nor the desktop. No key sequences work, mouse cursor move, but does not restore display. If I disable the Screen Energy Saver, the screen locks, but does not go black. No problem to display screen again by just logging in.

While the screen is frozen under the Screen Energy Saver, I can press CTRL-ALT-F3 and create a new terminal session. Inspecting the logs, the only thing that seems related to the time is this from Xorg.0.log:
[ 5658.042] (II) event1 - Power Button: device removed
[ 5658.048] (II) event0 - Power Button: device removed
[ 5658.054] (II) event3 - Logitech Wireless Mouse: device removed
[ 5658.064] (II) event2 - Logitech Wireless Keyboard PID:4023: device removed
[ 5658.072] (II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch
