Yesterday I accomplished a reinstall of my Manjaro system for various reasons - having some locale problem popping up, wanting to move to BTRFS, get rid of some on boot Plasma shenanigans and so on. Unfortunately it appears some issues did not go away, but even got way stronger than before.

Now when I boot my computer and log in, I get my Plasma desktop starting the screens a faulty way. My left screen (regular 1080p 60 frames) starts with blank screen - it seems usable to have app windows in it, but there is no wallpaper and stuff like right click menu don't work. My right screen (the main one, 21:9 1080p 75 frames) starts up with some weird sort of wallpapers overlapping, seems as if the wallpaper that should be aligned to the left in the 4480x1080 set of monitors, is aligned to the right instead. It's an annoying behavior, that on my previous install was happening like once per 10 boot cycles I guess and was easy to fix by just logging out and back in.
Now though, I get the deskop to render that way pretty much most of the time, getting it correct by just running the computer it an exception. Doing the logout shenanigans seems pretty futile, too. What helps it entering system settings and shuffling positions of the screens, which apparently resets something, making it work right each time.

Apparently someone on YT has already covered a fix of this exact same issue https://youtu.be/S25XTiG4oRc
The problem is it's not really anything satisfying. I don't wanna use stuff outside of KDE to keep flexibility and not create any sort of weird problem, the more that I depend on wacomtablet package working correctly - no idea what this could do to it.
To make the matter worse, the issue is present since at least 2016 apparently (that is when the video was posted after all) and since then it has not been sorted out properly. This makes me sense some Microsoft level of ****, not gonna lie.

I wonder if there is some other fix I can do to prevent that behavior, or if there's any chance for that I'm pouring this salt right before some actual KDE-made fix is going to roll out (noting the context, I wish. I want to believe), or should I file a report on that matter somewhere?
