Hi,
I've recently started using Plasma on Wayland and apart from a few glitches, I'm pretty happy. For the first time, my touch screen actually works properly. So I would like to be able to use my convertible as a tablet. I just can't figure out how tablet mode actually works. acpi-listen shows that acpid correctly recognizes when I change to tablet mode by folding over the display:
But plasma doesn't do anything. Since "Display and Monitor" offers automatic screen rotation "only when in tablet-mode" I assume there must be such a thing. I just can't figure out how to activate it, neither manually nor automatically. I'm running plasma 5.21.5 on Debian Sid. Thanks |

My convertible also does not auto-rotate when the "only when in tablet-mode" is checked, but the screen rotates just fine with just the auto-rotation enabled.
The tablet mode ACPI switch on my Ideapad does not have an on-off state, just a single response no matter if it is folded over or un-folded.
