Hi, how can be written a plasma desktop configuration in skel (/etc/skel/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc) to set a specific wallpaper image for the user?
I have tried to add lines below, that worked in the past:
But they are always replaced by a default setup:
Thank you!

Rather than using skel, have you considered using KDE's Kiosk framework: https://develop.kde.org/deploy/kiosk/introduction/
I've not used it myself, but it might do what you want.

Thanks, but I expect to be able to restore the state in its configuration files, otherwise how it would work between sessions?
I am missing something for sure and I'll check Kiosk too. |

I've found the solution.
The wallpaper is related to an activity that is defined in ~/.config/kactivitymanagerdrc then used in ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, which makes sense, as some should be able to set a different wallpaper for each activity. |
