Hi,
Checking my logs I discovered such error:
It slows my computers after login into the system, by almost 12s each time.
Kubuntu 22.04 / kernel 5.15.x
KDE 5.24.5 / KDE framework: 5.95 / Qt version: 5.15.3 |

I can't reproduce this here, my splash screen shows without problems, so likely solved in the next Plasma version anyway.
Are you using a different Global Theme than the default Breeze one that could cause the issue? I use Breeze Twilight here.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi @alainroger
can you remember if you found a solution for your problem? I have the exactly same problem on my machine (Kubuntu 22.04). ``` org.freedesktop.Notifications[9791]: org.kde.knotifications: WaitForName: Service was not registered within timeout dbus-daemon[8895]: [session uid=1000 pid=8895] Activated service 'org.freedesktop.Notifications' failed: Process org.freedesktop.Notifications exited with status 1 ``` |
