Before, i used to organize my applications and shortcuts in different sub-directories, so it would look cleaner in each category, for example:
Launcher > Games > Emulator > Dolphin

But since the anniversary update, i've lost this feature and now my app lists are just a mess, the subdirectories are still configured, but Kickoff applauncher doesn't list them, it puts all applications together in each category and ignores it's on subdirectory.

Ii used to be, for example:
  • Education
    1. Computation
      1. Digital Circuit Simulator
      2. Micro Computer Emulator
    2. Math
      1. LibreOffice Math
      2. Geogebra
  • Games
    1. Emulators
      1. KEmulator
      2. Dolphin
    2. Launchers
      1. Epic Games
      2. Steam
    3. Game 1
    4. Game 2
    5. Etc

After the update, it now looks like:
  • Education
    1. Digital Circuit Simulator
    2. Micro Computer Emulator
    3. LibreOffice Math
    4. Geogebra
  • Games
    1. KEmulator
    2. Dolphin
    3. Epic Games
    4. Steam
    5. Game 1
    6. Game 2
    7. Etc

I didn't like it, i've searched all around the settings to bring it back, but couldn't find it. ¿Was it changed and removed on the update, can i bring it back?

Please report this as a regression on the bug tracker, bug reports do not belong to the forum: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=plasmashell

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
