Hi,
For some reason unknown to me I cannot raise activated programs to the top of my screen with one click. To be specific I would like to click onto a file in dophin, have it opened by the associated program and show then on top of everything. At the moment it gets activated by I have to click on the icon on the task bar to have it on top. (It used to be as I want it but changed possibly with an update) I have played around with the parameters in 'System Settings/Window Management/Window Actions' but couldn't get it changed. What did I miss? Thanks for any hints! |

Did you close the application(s) in question when minimized?
Which applications have this behavior? Which exact Plasma version do you talk about? What did you change to the default installation?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Are you sure that, under "window behaviour">Focus, click for focus and under "window behaviour>Window actions>Left mouseclick, activate to foreground, are set?
This realm's name is Maya. And she speaks Hertz. But Ahamkara makes a fuzz about it.

Apologies for responding so delayed! The problem has been solved although I don't remember the solution right now. So thank you very much for helpful suggestions!
