Hello,

On a Gentoo derived system:
Operating System: MocaccinoOS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.82-mocaccino (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz
Memory: 62.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2

Trash can applet on the desktop does not refresh when it is emptied.
If emptied, it keeps showing the same number of files until restart or, being empty, when a number of file is moved to it will display that correctly.
The only wrong case is when it is emptied.

What should I check?
Is there some service down?

Thanks.

Hello,

Turns out that a 0 sized file was present in ~/.local/share/Trash/info/.
Although checking the disk showed no problem, seems that file that was there mislead the trash plasmoid.
I've removed that file and worked fine after.
