Hey together,
I am using Garuda, an Arch based Distro for a while with KDE plasma 5 desktop. Since today, when I boot up, I hear no startup sound, also other notification's don´t make sound. I already the reason: After booting, the level of the notifications is set to 0%. Setting it to another level does help only temporarily, after reboot it is 0% again. I use pipewire as sound driver, if this may help, and a Bluetooth connected speaker. Can you tell me please what may help me fixing this, cause I am not very informed in Linux handling of sound. Did you try Pulseaudio as the default?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
