Start kde from a remote putty login

Mon May 02, 2022 6:49 pm
ok, so here's where I am.

Have a little server installed at my desk (OK, it's behind my desk, on a shelf...).
I have KDE installed as my desktop on this machine. Its great. It runs on the console without a problem.

Now, I would like to log in remotely from my M$Doze machine using putty, and get a KDE screen session on this machine.

I have XFCD installed on that machine, and from a remote console session I can start/run any of the KDE programs separately.

Is there a way from that console to start a KDE desktop session? WITHOUT destroying the session I may already be running on other consoles?

Later-

David
