I'm trying to build a panel with icons that point to applications. I have installed an empty panel, and I am using the application launcher to find the appropriate applications, and then dragging and dropping the icon onto the empty pane. So far, I havei only been able to add three icons. The rest simply disappear. This is a simple task in gnome-flashback. In fact, gnome expects users to add applications, as well as what kde calls widgets. I hope there is an equally simple fix here.
