Hi I have installed kde on top of Ubuntu 22.04 and it says this error each time I want to download a new thing or even update a package that is from "knewstuff".
I saw in a topic somewhere somebody reported they had fixed this issue by reinstalling knewstuff. I am using Ubuntu and I can't figure out how to do this. He was on Arch. Now is there any other fix for this issue? If not how can I reinstall knewstuff? system info: Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.15.0-39-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 |

The packet name is knewstuff-dialog in Kubuntu, you can reinstall it just by doing this in a konsole:
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
