Dear all,
I run: KUBUNTU 22.04 with KDE Plasma 5.24
If I drop a Folder or File to the desktop and select the Icon-option it generates an Icon on desktop. That's OK. But when I double Click on it nothing happen.
I also have some .desktop files. These files do not work either.
I checked the file associations and kioclient5 is the preferred application to open it.
When I check the output on konsole f.e. I start with
Code: Select all
kioclient5 exec '06 Summary.desktop'

to see what happen, it shows me this strange message.
Code: Select all
grep: /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc/WSLInterop: No such file or directory
WSL Interopability is disabled. Please enable it before using WSL.
grep: /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc/WSLInterop: No such file or directory
[error] WSL Interoperability is disabled. Please enable it before using WSL.

and:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/wslview: line 216: /mnt/c/Windows/System32/reg.exe: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/wslview: line 308: [: -ge: unary operator expected
[error] This protocol is not supported before version 1903.

So what is that? WSL - Windows Subsystem for Linux?
I have no Windows at all on this machine and with Kubuntu 20.00 it was working fine?
To click on Icons on the desktop which you have dropped before should be a BASIC Function of a Desktop.

Is somebody who has same experients?
