Hello good people,

i hope this is the right place to ask, if not, please redirect me.
This might seem like a lazy question, but while i could likely test this easily i much rather ask to know for sure:
Does KDE's "execute scripts on User-Login"-Feature operate on Root- or Userprivilege-Level?

Usecase: I need to execute a few commands (with possibly varying privilege-levels in the future) during boot and in order to know where i can put what i need to know.

Thanks for letting me know!

Scripts are run as the user you are logging into.

For executing stuff as root during boot I'd recommend you look into creating a systemd unit for it
