Hi,
so today i installed a global theme, afterwards i tried to add some widgets but the menu wasn't opening, my screen froze and then refreshed doing absolutely nothing. I decided to apply a preinstalled theme and the widget menu opened just fine. Later i realized that the problem was a top application menu bar, the widget menu can't open whenever i have a top bar but works fine if i have a bottom one. Is there a fix for this? |

Hi.
I have the same problem as sinki. After the last KDE update, I can't open the widgets menu. I found a solution for this yesterday. If you want to access the widgets menu, you can use the application dashboard widget. It is a launcher widget in the KDE Plasma desktop. If you don't use the application dashboard widget, you can execute it from terminal by this command: plasmawindowed org.kde.plasma.kickerdash After running this command you will see a window with an icon. If press the button, the application dashboard widget will be executed and you can access the widgets in the widgets tab. I hope this method helps you to solve your problem! |
