Hi,

I've just installed kubuntu 22.04 with plasmashell version 5.24.6.

While it is an infinitely better experience than that Gnome garbage that I was using with plain ubuntu, its stability leaves much to be desired.

Basically it's crashing constantly. Or more specifically every time I build our software stack - so whenever CPU and memory usage maxes out. The whole display locks up and the mouse cursor freezes for five minutes or so while clang does its thing, and when it finally recovers, plasma has left the computer.

This on a PC that is about two years old (give or take) and was rock solid (albeit with a 1996 vibe) until I installed kubuntu yesterday.

Anyway I can figure out what's going on? (I'm assuming you guys don't get sent crash reports automatically, right?)
