I recently reinstalled grub due to a bootloader issue. The Linux OS is Arch. Whenever I log into the main user that I use, the monitor goes black and I get sent back to the login. I can still log in as root just fine.

I know the system isn't rebooting because I have a FDE and I don't have to re-enter a password to unlock it.

Alright. I made a new user and it seems to be just that one account in particular
