Before I post as a bug, Is anyone else having a similar issue? This happened a few days after the 5.26 update. When i restored from a snapshot, it wouldn't let me see the Display Settings menu at all.
Affected monitor is an ASUS VG27A via DisplayPort. I've tried, without success: - restoring from a snapshot prior to the update - different DP connections I may need help downgrading back to 5.25.5 because i have a deadline to make, and i don't want to have to go into work tomorrow to finish it.

This was solved by:
1. plugging both hdmi and display port on affected monitor 2. switching to hdmi on monitor 3. opening display settings in kde gui (both inputs from same monitor showed up, 3 monitors total) 4. selecting enable and primary on displayport (previously this did not work, monitor would appear to disconnect and reconnect, then disconnect again) 5. switched back to displayport on monitor Worked. No clue why. https://forum.garudalinux.org/t/monitor ... ma/23939/3 |

This is broken again. Same solution did not work.
- At login, monitors are detected and login screen is displayed. - Once logged in, the one monitor (ASUS VG27A) fails to detect displayport input, same with HDMI - I've tried re-enabling via Display Settings, and it does nothing. Doesn't even ask if i'd like to keep the settings or revert. Sometimes Display Settings removes the monitor from the dialog, then it shows back up, then goes away, then shows up again. Enabled stays checked, but the monitor is not displaying any output. In this time it says,
I've tried the following, which did not work: - linux-lts and linx-zen kernels - restoring snapshot to before the update that I think did it - the previous solution posted above This is primarily a problem with the display port. When i have both HDMI and DP plugged in, DP seems to fight over the input and reset it. DP alone just simply doesn't work, and HDMI alone works. I'd like to use DP since it is the only input on this monitor capable of the peak 165hz refresh. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've had this issue as well. Also running Garuda Linux with zen kernel.
Monitor displays fine until login, then power cycles after entering the password. I've been able to get it on again with
