I'm stuck on Kubuntu 18.04 until I can get un-antialiased fonts working on any modern KDE/Kubuntu/Neon distribution. I've honestly spent a few days on this, compiling old versions of freetype, using ftview, every hinting possibility and rendering engine version. I could probably deal with antialiased fonts in most apps, but I spend all day in konsole and need the sharpness of an small unantialised/monchrome/bitmap font.

Kubuntu 18.04 Looks great!



KDE Neon, Kubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu with kde-full, not so much
