Weird center pop-up of menu

Looking at the AlmaLinux Live KDE USB. The KDE Application Menu (and other things that open from the task bar), are popping open from the center of the task bar. How do I prevent that from happening? Moving it using Super + left click (and drag) does not stick. All future menus return to the open in center behavior.

What's KDE Frameworks version? If it's 5.98 there is a chance to see the bug.
