Sorry for the bad title, I cannot think of anything better, but let me know if you have a better title based on the description below, and i will update it.

The issue is that when I run emacsclient using custom shortcuts in KDE settings, the window will be always sent to the back of the window stack. What I mean is that in the Alt+Tab (which is bound to "Walk Through Windows"), the Emacs will be send to the last item. Surprisingly I have only noticed this on emacsclient and nothing else!

The command that is bound to keyboard shortcut:

Code: Select all
emacsclient --alternate-editor=nvim --create-frame --no-wait

I have Alacritty, Vifm (via Alacritty), and Neovide bound with the command but this does not happen with any of them. I also tested with Zathura to open a PDF file and it still worked just fine, which adds more to my confusion.

It seems it is a typical PEBKAC situation, but I cannot figure out what it can be. I have not set Window Rules for it, I don't have specific script to control windows and etc.

Any help into understanding and solving the issue is highly appreciated.
