Hi. Currently I'm on Fedora 36, KDE 5 and there's this empty gap between my tray icons. When I put the pointer on top of it, it says it's "iBus". It dosen't have a tray icon and I don't have any use for it. I tried to uncheck the option ¨don't show icon in tray" but when I restart Fedora, It comes back. So I tried to uninstall the app and it has gnome-shell so I can't.
Also, iBus is not under System Settings>Autostart list. Is there a way to stop iBus from auto start when I boot into Fedora? Thanks in advance. |

I would also like to know.
Is IBus necessary for the keyboard layout switcher to work? EDIT: I removed the IBus package with all dependencies, and everything is working fine. |
