Go to this post to see how I resolved this after many months of updates and trying things:

This is my 2nd post this morning. Whenever I reboot my PC when I get back into the syhstem the monitor layout and refrsh rate has been reset from what I had it set to AND 50% of the time a taskbar is missing from one monitor only. I have 3 monitors. lets call them from left to right 1-2-3 Monitor max refresh rates: 1= 144hz 2= 165hz 3= 120hz When I reboot the layout changes to 1-3-2 and monitor 3 has no task bar 50% of the time. I have not tried rebooting twice (I will) but I always reset the layout, put the refresh rate back to 120 hz for all 3 adn recreated the missing task bar. EDIT: Reboting multiple times changes nothing - the taskbar reamins missing until I restore it. All that takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Annoying as you know what, especially if I am in a hurry to get something done and leave the house, like this morning. Thanks a bunch everyone. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this would be MOST apprecaietd as I have no clue where to begin with this one. |
