I changed from the standard context menu to the application launcher by right clicking on the wallpaper and going to Configure Desktop and Wallpaper > Mouse Actions
I much prefer the old one, but can't find put how to revert to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Fixed it:
Step 1: sudo nano ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

Step 2: Edit line 3-
Before: RightButton;NoModifier=org.kde.applicationlauncher
After: RightButton;NoModifier=org.kde.contextmenu

Step 3: reboot

Voila!
