Hello community,

I have this annoying issue for quite long (around 3 months). So on my OpenSuse Tumbleweed i use mainly Kde but sometimes i use Sway as well. so far i don't have issues with Kde but if i log in to Sway session first then i switch to kde all icons are missing even if i change the icons theme the only way to solve it is by rebooting my pc. Even if i restart kde from terminal it won't solve it.

I don't know if there is a demon or a service that kde launches i doubt it but idk. In other words if i open another session than kde when i start my pc ill have this issue only on kde. If i login in with different users this issue won't happen either I'm confused. :-\

I solved this issue by setting these 2 variables in my .profile file:

Code: Select all
set QT_QPA_PLATFORM=kde
set XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=kde
