I am running KDE Neon Plasma for more than a year now, the problem strated showing up about a month ago. I discovered it noticing that my daily backup cron job didn't run for almost 2 monhs, then while trying to figure out, the machine crashed and I could not start it again, so I reinstalled the OS.
I am currently on version : 5.26.4, Kernel 5.15.0-56-generic, the PC is a HP EliteDesk 800 G6, almost a year old. All information exchanges with HP ended (after checking all my installed drivers) with them pointing me to say, there is a problem in your OS, nothing wrong with the hardware - fact is, it didn't change a month ago... I don't see here an option to upload a screen shot of the errors - but it is all pointing to Power management : AE_NOT_FOUND .... ACPI Hope someone can help me resolve this Thaks Alex |

Many people seem to see these messages, and they are not specific to neon. A BIOS update, if available, might clear this, or not. But unless you are actually experiencing any symptoms, you can either ignore this, or hide output logging:
More information and details https://askubuntu.com/questions/1416198 ... on-asus-x7 This bug should go away once Ubuntu 22.04 gets it's next major kernel version upgrade.
