Hello

I use a Debian 11 system with the KDE Plasma version 5.20.5 and the KDE Framework version 5.78.0 on a panel with a touch screen.
(The panel is from Christ Electronic Systems. Type: Touch-it XELO Fromt Panel glass 7)

The touch works almost flawlessly with one exception.
When I try to start an icon on the desktop with a double click (or double touch?), it doesn't work.
Everywhere else the double click works fine.
I also found out that double-clicking on desktop icons also works if you first click on the taskbar.

What works:
- First click on an empty part of the taskbar and then double-click on a desktop icon

What doesn't work:
- Click somewere else and then start a program using the desktop icon.

Can this be due to a wrong setting? (Cant really imagine what kind of setting could result in that behavior.)

Or has someone ever observed a similar behavior and found a solution for it?

Thanks in advance!
