The idea for this forum arose at Akademy when those of us who did not go on the day trip started brainstorming about how to let people know about jobs that need doing around the KDE community. We ended up with a proposal which was shaped into this.

We can reuse part of Brainstorm, and extend that in a new direction. We envision a unified place where developers aggregate "missions" of different size and scope. This place is meant to be the go-to place for people who want to get involved with KDE, accessible through a prominent "get involved" link on http://www.kde.org.

The kind of missions we envision are:

* GSoC, SoK, GCi task ideas which come up through the year. Please tag them properly so they will be easy to retrieve for posting before contests open.
* new team members wanted with particular skills
* specific areas needing attention
* applications and libraries needing maintainers
