Dead link in KDE doc

Wed Mar 10, 2021 4:38 am
Hi,

The line just above this anchor:
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applica ... pets-using
You can use the Kate scripting API to get the selected text, ...

... contains a dead link.

I think it's intended for:
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applica ... ipting-api

Bug reporting looks a bit intimidating for this (e.g. Steps to reproduce, etc.) 8-)

Hopefully someone will claim this post and pass it on to where it I should have sent it, if I'd had a clue.

Thanks.

I moved your post to the subforum KDE Websites.
As for reporting in https://bugs.kde.org: you can just fill in what is needed when it comes to websites, the template is for application bug reports to make sure people provide the means to reproduce bugs.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Fixed: https://invent.kde.org/utilities/kate/c ... ffbc9d0630
but it won't show up on the website on a while (right now the updates are blocked).

It will show up in the next major release of kate (around April)
