I wanted to make a donation to KDE, so followed the link - https://kde.org/community/donations/
Did attempt to pay via Paypal (I have an account) but when logged in, Paypal would not let me proceed until there were 2 items to resolve beforehand. These were to do with 'additional security measures'. At the first one, Paypal wants me to verify my address and upload the relevant documents ......... no thanks. For the sake of ones privacy, some hoops I will not jump through......lol Difficult to understand how Paypal can require such stringent security measures on the one hand, and yet on the other hand give my email address to the receiving parties. That email address is the one used to login. From https://money.stackexchange.com/questio ... 974#114974
So I made the donation via GitHub ( https://github.com/sponsors/KDE/ ), SO much easier. So, please keep the Github method for donations.

Please take this to to the web administrators, they are the ones able to act on this: kde-www@kde.org (this is a public mailing list)
FWIW: moving this to another subforum
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
