How works resize-root-partition?

Wed Dec 14, 2016 1:32 pm I was looking this page in the wiki Plasma/Mobile/FlashingKubuntuPhone and I saw the "Resizing root partition" part. How does this work? I was trying to find the source code of the program that runs but I can not see it anywhere. PS: Sorry for my English.

I don't have plasma mobile, so I will not be able to see the script, I have Ubuntu Touch and I wanted to interact doing this, but redoing the script seemed tedious.
