ok so i downloaded kdeconnect to my iphone and tried to connect to my laptop. Both are on the same network, yet I can't connect the two.

I have gone through the steps to make sure my firewall ports are open and the firewall app in KDE shows that KDEConnect is allowed for connection to the computer. When I first used it, it connected fine, but since that one connection I can't connect at all.
The app on the phone shows the previous connection that was made, however it won't find either laptop on phone app or iphone on laptop while on the same network.

I'm using KDE Plasma version 5.25.1 on EndeavourOS with kernel 5.18.5-arch1-1

does connect by ip work?
