Hello. I am brand new to the world of development, KDE and Linux in general. Anyway, I'm always intrigued by new Mobile operating systems (because I'm honestly sick of the duopoly), and was curious to try Plasma. I don't have a nexus 5, so my only option was to download the iso and try it in virtualbox. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. Are there specific settings I need to enable to set up the VM?
OR
Is there a guide on how I can port Plasma mobile over to my LG G2 D801? It's basically a Nexus 5 with better hardware, and I already have TWRP installed.

Any feedback is appreciated. As a (very) new programmer, I would like to get involved in some projects down the road and contribute to the hopeful success of an alternative mobile platform.
