Error while flashing Nexus 5...

Thu Oct 29, 2015 10:13 pm
Hello,

I could not figure this out so i have to ask:

Why i get this kind of error when trying to flash the plasma-mobile image to my Nexus 5 (ubuntu-touch installed to phone)

tommi@tommi-ThinkPad-T410 ~/Downloads $ ubuntu-device-flash --server="http://neon.plasma-phone.org" touch --channel="neon-mobile/devel" --bootstrap --developer-mode --password 1234
unknown flag `developer-mode'
tommi@tommi-ThinkPad-T410 ~/Downloads $

The phone is rebooted to bootloader and i have tried to sudo this command also but no effect..

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Strange. Maybe you have some older/newer version of ubuntu-device-flash that doesn't support that? I have this version:
Code: Select all
$ dpkg --list ubuntu-device-flash
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name                     Version           Architecture      Description
+++-========================-=================-=================-======================================================
ii  ubuntu-device-flash      0.4+14.10.2014100 amd64             Flash supported Nexus devices with Ubuntu

And the option seems to be for:
Code: Select all
$ ubuntu-device-flash --help
Usage:
  ubuntu-device-flash [OPTIONS]
[...]
      --developer-mode   Enables developer mode after the factory reset

So, maybe it's not all that crucial and you could try with leaving the option out?!
