I've made a quick and dirty small modification to the network monitor desktop widget (plasmoid) to show the speeds in bits per second instead of bytes, so it will show either "x Mbps", "Kbps", "bps" or just zero "0" depending on the data value.

I'm wondering if/where I can make a request for similar change to be made to official codebase? Not sure if my change has enough quality to make a pull request and I could not find the kde bugs component name to submit a wishlist request.
