Checking Grey Values

Fri Aug 03, 2018 1:35 pm
Hi,

This query concerns checking the grey values of a painting in Krita.
A few days ago I had seen an option , which once enabled will turn the image into greyscale and user can check the values and then just come back to color mode.
Can anybody help me out with this??

^ Ctrl + Y To activate softproofing. You can change the soft proofing settings on the Settings > Configure Krita > Color Management > Soft Proofing

As an additional inquiry, since it's aligned with the topic title.

Can anyone have any insight as to what setting I should have my soft proofing on the be able to replicate the Working Gray - Dot Gain 20% Setting on Photoshop? What profile should I choose? Thank you in advance.
