It's my branch of PackageKit. I will try to push it to upstream. You can use it by multiple users and also handle dependencies by it. It's very tool agnostic. There's now need to modify packagemanager/software centers, but there's still errors in console backend. It's currently only support zypper, but maybe in future, it will be support wider range of distros (fedora, debian, etc.) If you can, test. https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues/415 https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/pulls Donate: https://www.patreon.com/easylinux

Here is how to install modified version of PackageKit on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. Sorry for bad movie quality, I will create next in near future. You can have only one version of PackageKit installed on your system, so do not install it on real system, but rather on VM. It is not done yet.

This is new version of my movie (without graphical artifacts).
Still some problems. Firstly, OpenSUSE servers still complains about wine was removed from servers, so I must configure VM to access on my host system to install my own packages, add public key to rpm. Another problem is I try to create own .xinitrc file, but decided to configure starting of some program via systemsettings5. Best is to watch both movie. On new movie I will present how to configure Bonsole to start with DE, so you must not start it via hand. This is link: https://youtu.be/8Z-PUUvoxl0
