Contribute to KMag development

Tue Dec 14, 2021 4:49 pm
Hello,

I have not found a way to contact the dev team for the KMag application. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to contact them?

I would like to propose some new features, which I would attempt to implement myself (these are based on requests from people with accessibility problems) :

- An option to have the magnification window follow the mouse cursor, ideally with a position offset that you can set yourself in the configurations.
- An option to zoom in and out the magnification using the middle mouse scroll with a modifier key pressed (a global shortcut, not just when you have the mouse over the magnification window)

You can always get in touch with the developers via https://invent.kde.org/accessibility/kmag. That is also the best way to submit merge requests of your own code.
Feature requests should go to https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?form ... oduct=kmag

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
