I followed the plasma tutorial at http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... ingStarted.
But when i try the 'plasmoidviewer applet-name' command i get the following error-

This object could not be created for the following reason:
Could not find the requested component:tutorial1

My directories are as follows:
~/Desktop/plasma-tutorial/

CMakeCache.txt lib
CMakeFiles Makefile
cmake_install.cmake plasma_applet_tutorial1_automoc.cpp
CMakeLists.txt plasma_applet_tutorial1_automoc.cpp.files
CMakeTmp plasma-applet-tutorial1.desktop
cmake_uninstall.cmake plasma-tutorial1.cpp
CTestTestfile.cmake plasma-tutorial1.h
install_manifest.txt plasma-tutorial1.moc
kde-config --prefix

And i run the command - plasmoidviewer tutorial1

Please advice. Thank you.

Did you properly install the component (see the bit about copying), as the tutorial said, and did you run kbuildsycoca4?
