KconfigGroup::writePathEntry $e?

Wed Jun 06, 2012 8:21 am
Hi all,
I've got a little doubt about the configuration writing of a file:(http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apid ... b292b8f784) in my application I do the following

Code: Select all
KConfigGroup cgWorkspace = slaveConfigPtr->group( "files" );
  cgWorkspace.writePathEntry( "xml-filename"  "/tmp/roles.xml" );

and in the config file I found correctly:

Code: Select all
[files]
xml-filename[$e]=/tmp/roles.xml

vut what is that $e in the key of the configuration entry?

I would recommend sending a email to kde-devel@kde.org regarding this.
From what I believe, it is a special indicator to KConfig to indicate it is a path.
