I'm not even if sure if this makes sense, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone can tell me if what I'd like to do is possible. I would like to have a KToolBar that, when it has more items than it can show in a row, it spills to a second row so that all the items are always visible. Right now, there is the little arrow at the right end of the toolbar that, if clicked on, actually does what I need: it shows the formerly invisible items in a second row. What I would like is to have the toolbar expand automatically and actually take two rows, without the user having to do anything about it and with the second row staying on screen (right now, the second row that appears when you press the arrow disappears when the mouse pointer leaves the toolbar area).
I would like to do this so that I can apply it to rekonq's bookmarks toolbar. I have more bookmarks there than fit in one row, and I find it very annoying to have to click on the arrow every time I want to access one. I'm very new to programming so I am just wondering whether there is a relatively straightforward way of achieving this that I have missed. Thanks! |

As KToolBar is based upon QToolBar, I would recommend looking there first, using the online Qt documentation.
I would also recommend checking on api.kde.org for KToolBar.
