Would anyone be able to help me out with this please.

I'm unsure how to checkout Kwrite with Kdesrc-build?

Which module currently contains Kwrite, since kdebase is now split into separate modules
(runtime, workspace and baseapps) and Kwrite no longer seems to be part of baseapps.
(It's been a while since I've compiled KDE4 from source)

For example, to checkout kmix, I would use the following in kdesrcbuild-rc.

module kdemultimedia
checkout-only kmix
end module

KWrite is currently bundled as part of the Kate repository. It looks like your config relates to when kdemultimedia was in KMix.

I have the following in my kdesrc-buildrc:
