Hi,
I'm new to QML,but started practicing and exploring application source codes (provided by plasma active). I have a problem that all plasma imports get underscored because of some error. Some imports are undescored with green and extras with red. Earlier all of them were red,but I changed the variable QML_IMPORT_PATH in /etc/profile (not sure if it was correct). I have 2 questions. First, how to get rid of that underscore, due to that error I cannot use Qt designer because it fails to load. Second, I know that extras is not even installed (not present in /usr/lib/kde4/imports/org/kde/plasma/),but I think I installed all relevant kde and plasma packages from my package manager. Please, what am I missing?
thanks for any help

I am running fedora 17,KDE 4.8, Qt toolkit 4.8.2

I have that directory on my trunk installation of KDE (although in a slightly different location due to different system architecture - 64 bit - and different install prefix).

Have you checked for any kde-runtime plasma related packages?
Also, if your system is 64 bit, have you tried /usr/lib64/kde4/... instead?

I searched through the whole system, but nothing named 'extras' was found. I hope every package related to kde-runtime is installed, I checked that in the package manager. But I found something that might be useful -
Code: Select all
https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kde-runtime/repository
, there's a plasma directory containing a subdirectory called declarativeimports which includes core components and plasmaextracomponents as well. What do you think about it?

I've got a 32 bit system,so the path should be correct

If you could compile that, then it would provide the Plasma Components you are missing. Uncompiled, it is not too helpful however.
