Error pushing to KDE git

Sun Jul 22, 2012 10:14 am
Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this issue (if not, please let me know), but I was trying to push some updates related to pt_BR translation (kdoctools) to kdelibs and I couldn't. I followed the steps in http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... QuickStart to make a clone, git setup and when I tried to push my commits (only two files), I received the following message:

Enter passphrase for key '/home/marcus/.ssh/id_dsa':

Compressing objects: 100% (8/8), done.

error: failed to push some refs to 'git@git.kde.org:kdelibs'

git status report:

# On branch master

nothing to commit (working directory clean)

So, I cannot push my commit.

Any help I will appreciate.

Thanks in advance!

The 'master' branch of kdelibs is currently closed to allow for development to focus on the frameworks.
New features should go into the 'frameworks' branch (which is very different in structure to kdelibs currently, and will be aimed in future at Qt 5.x) while bug fixes and other changes should go into the latest version branch - 4.9 at the moment.

Thanks for your support!

I could push my commits to KDE/4.9.
