QMenu from a kded module

Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:12 pm
Hello, i'm working on this:
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/kd ... ent=153417

In previous version, kwin was doing a QMenu::popup() and all was working as wanted.

In this version, the kded module is doing a QMenu::popup() but menu won't close when you click on another window, any idea ?

Have you tried changing your window stealing protection settings?

For that second problem description - I would recommend putting the code in question in a central place and making it generic enough so both areas can use it. The system tray menu is associated to the system tray icon - which is a completely seperate window, so you will not be able to shift focus to it (with X calls anyway - which are non-portable).
