Hi, a few months ago I posted this same topic in Gwenview's forum.

In short I've seen a fedora thread where the workaround is downgrading to 4.7 which Ive done. It doesnt seem like a gwenview issue since I've kept kde-base in 4.7 and upgraded gwenview to 4.9 and is still working.
I've been refered to kdelibs forums from gwenview's. which I'm trying to do. Could you please point me to the right furum? viewforum.php?f=43?

The previous poster was suggesting that you go to https://bugs.kde.org and file a new bug. Pick kdelibs as the product and pick kimgio as the component when describing the bug.
