Hi,
Was recently looking at the pinehero oxygen design site and am really impressed by allot of his work, like air, oxygen and horos. I am a little ignorant of who is who in the developer world. Its more brands and logos for the most part. I am curious as to who exactly developed the crystal icon set and the plastic window decoration. I cant get over how good opensuse 10 with KDE 3 was. Not just in respect to graphic design and user interface design. I remember what most Internet enabled Operating Systems were like before Bugzilla. KDE 3 was really a milestone in regards to providing an Internet enabled Operating System of the highest quality because bugs were eliminated immediately. Maybe Im a little inaccurate here, but Im guessing opensuse 9 was lacking this? Allot of helpfull meaningfull and short comments in configuration screens was a joy in opensuse 10/KDE 3+. Every option had a great description of what it exactly did. Perhaps there is some potential in developing better documentation making it highly enjoyable and relevant. Finally obviously the desktop cube and superkaramba were something everyone liked. Microsoft themselves developed desktop gadgets and the cascading windows switcher a little bit after this. I also remember Bemused and anyremote on my Java phone. So who developed what? 1. Crystal icon set 2. Plastik window deco 3. Bugzilla 4. Desktop Cube 5. Superkaramba And was it KDE or OpenSuse who came up with the cool documentation descriptons? My goodness, it was all really mind blowing stuff. Think it deserves 3 thumbs up and a chant of praise |

Most of these can be found using Google or checking the "About" dialog: 1. Everaldo Coelho. 2. Sandro Giessl. 3. Terry Weissman was the original author. 4. Do you mean the one in KWin? In that case the About dialog says that Martin Gräßlin is the author. 5. Karamba was originally written by Hans Karlsson, then handed over to Adam Geitgey and became SuperKaramba.
